DPP accuses investigation chief of leaking info to brother

The China Post–Opposition lawmakers yesterday accused an Investigation Bureau chief of allegedly leaking classified information to his brother, who fled to China in 2006 to avoid a possible jail term after being indicted on embezzlement charges.

According to Legislators Tuan Yi-kang (段宜康) and Chiu Chih-wei (邱志偉) of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), Investigation Bureau Director-General Chang Chi-ping’s (張繼平) younger brother Chang Kao-ping (張高平) was indicted by Taipei prosecutors six years ago on charges of embezzling public funds.    [FULL  STORY]
