Taipei, Aug. 17 (CNA) Taiwanese violinist Yo-yo Fann, playing with Peru’s National Symphony Orchestra in Lima Sunday, moved the audience to tears with his rendition of a famous Peruvian piece “Song of Eagles.”
According to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Peru, the performance by the 23-year-old Fann was so enthralling that not only was the audience in tears, but the violinist was invited to return to Peru for another concert.
Conductor Pablo Sabat, who is also a renowned Peruvian pianist, said that despite Fann’s youth he was able to give a perfect interpretation of Brahms Violin Concerto during the concert. more …
