Taipei, Aug. 15 (CNA) Taiwanese choreographer Sun Chuo-Tai will present a new dance piece this month in Taipei, focusing on the concept of distance between lovers and between parents and children.
The one-hour dance, titled “Ripple Effect, ” will be performed by five dancers with backgrounds in classical dance, contemporary dance, street dance, Beijing opera and gymnastics, said Sun, the director of 8213 Physical Dance Theater.
Each dancer will bring their individual style to the interpretation of the piece, and present it in a humorous context, he told the Central News Agency.
“I expect to present an interesting modern dance that contains traditional elements,” said Sun. It will explore the concept of distance between people, he added.
